Privacy policy

Purpose and access

This personal integration uses Google Drive to store and recover encrypted BnB Connection backups and encrypted photo-retention records. Its sole Drive permission is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This permits creating, reading, updating, and deleting files created by the integration or specifically authorized by the owner. It does not grant general access to every file in the owner's Drive.

Information processed

The integration processes authorized files, their names and identifiers, sizes, timestamps, integrity information, and transfer results. Encrypted backup contents can include private application records and photos. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored privately on the backup host so scheduled transfers can operate without repeated sign-in. The integration does not receive the owner's Google password.

Use, storage, and disclosure

Data is used only for backup, integrity verification, restoration, rotation, and photo-retention recovery. Backup payloads and photo-retention records are encrypted before upload. Recovery keys are kept separately from the automatic backup destination. File metadata is not necessarily encrypted. During a restore, authorized application processes may decrypt data in a protected recovery environment.

Google stores the uploaded files and processes API requests under its own policies. The hosting provider supplies the server used for transfers and recovery. Monitoring receives success, failure, and freshness signals, not backup contents or encryption keys. The integration does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or intentionally share backup contents with unrelated parties. Access by the owner and authorized administrators is limited to operation and recovery.

Retention and deletion

The intended automatic rotation retains seven daily, four weekly, and three monthly recovery points. Current photo-retention information is maintained separately so older backups do not override newer expiry or deletion decisions. Saved photos and private-versus-shared permissions remain governed by BnB Connection's retention rules.

Older recovery points may still contain encrypted historical data until they leave backup retention. Active-photo deletion does not promise immediate erasure from every older backup or provider recovery system. Restoration must apply the authoritative retention records before photos become available; missing or unusable retention information requires recovery review rather than assuming old photos are safe to restore. Provider trash or recovery retention can outlast deletion requests. Screenshots and external copies are outside this integration's control.

Owner control and revocation

The owner can revoke the integration through Google Account connections, stop scheduled transfers, and manage authorized files directly in Google Drive. Revocation prevents future access but does not automatically delete copies already retained in Drive or on the backup host. Deletion and recovery requests should be directed to the installation owner through an existing private contact method; the support contact is shown on Google's consent screen.

These static information pages contain no forms, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or application cookies. The hosting provider may process routine request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the pages. No account records, backup contents, credentials, or recovery keys are published here.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the integration's data practices change. Any additional Google permissions require a separate authorization.
